SURPRISING STUFF

The Lake Geneva Police Department needs to update its very outdated camera system.
The system does not function consistently, nor does it cover everything thing the department would like it to. The camera systems used by police departments are intended for public safety but not everyone sees it that way as the capabilities and monitoring are thought to be very intrusive. LT. Keller retired from police officer now a consultant with the Flock Camera Company, presented the Flock Camera information to give the public a better understanding of the camera system and hopefully sway the public to viewing the system in a better light. Flock cameras have become the cameras of choice by many police departments nationwide.

The Flock Safety Cameras have also become popular privately. Flock cameras are user friendly saving measurable time for officers when looking for pertinent information and details. Capturing details and the right information makes this system a game-changer. Officers can’t be everywhere, and the flock multiplies departments’ force. Most think of its plate recognition as its only benefit and for some its flaws, but it offers visuals of so much more that may need a response and helps offer safety where needed. License plate recognition is not new to law enforcement but Flock steps it up a notch by maintaining a database of information that includes all details of vehicles.

Lake Geneva Police Department needs a new camera system and has been planning to upgrade. The Flock Camera System is what it is looking into. The current system in Lake Geneva is outdated and not user-friendly. The coverage currently offered is not sufficient and looking for information and evidence is very time-consuming. The Lake Geneva Police Department has monies set aside in this year’s budget and is hoping to move forward with the Flock System.

If you are afraid of the police being privy on the fly of all your information then you need to form a corporation, an LLC, and then sell your car to the corporation and re-register in that name. LLC corps in Wisconsin do not divulge the names of stockholders, only the officers of the company. Don’t be an officer of the company.  Keep your driving privacy.
