OUR PLACE
Daddy Maxwell’s in Williams Bay is getting closer to opening.
Even though they enjoy customers dining in the igloo they don’t want it to feel like an igloo. The new owners are waiting for the new furnace and other odds and ends. They decided to try out their new doughnut maker and host a fundraiser for local families in need. They sold a smaller version of their famous doughnuts and raised $1,682.15 for the Holiday Help Program. It’s great to see them as part of the community once again. We look forward to the grand opening, their success, and support from the local communities.
Here There Be Dragons!
The Geneva Shore Report staff received a call about some demon, impersonating an irate property owner, who came running out to threaten the caller for turning around in the ‘privately owned’ driveway off of Highway 120, where’s there no roadside access at all. This demon-type person was so angry that the driver feared for his life, as he recalled what happened to a woman back east in the same circumstance who was shot to death for doing the same thing.
The address of this demon-infested place is 1584 and 1588 on Highway 120 just at the line where Town of Linn begins, if heading south. If you are a citizen, or delivery person for Uber, Door Dash, FedEx, Amazon, and more, then do not go down that driveway…much less regular citizens not invited beforehand (and those invited should beware, as well). What’s down that long driveway is not something anyone might want to encounter during this holiday season, or otherwise. “Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!!!” The GSR sent a reporter back to the scene, but she was too afraid to enter the drive, instead merely taking the photo that’s in this issue.
