LITTLE GEMS
Week Four of Concerts in the Park, Thursday, July 17th, from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m., is yet another wonderful Concert in Flat Iron Park.
This is the fourth concert of the season, with several more to come. Get family and friends together, grab your lounge chairs or a blanket, and set up early in front of the Brunk Pavilion and enjoy an evening of great music and a beautiful view of Geneva Lake. This week, the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra will perform. For over twenty years, the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra has gathered people from all age groups and backgrounds to perform and enjoy music together. This is truly a community orchestra that all share a love of music. This is expected to be a very entertaining and relaxing evening at the park.
Su Wings, located on North Street, has closed for business.
The building and property are undergoing extensive remodeling and updating. The building will reopen once the renovations are complete. Siu Wing Leung, the building owner and former restaurant operator, is coming out of retirement to help his family bring back Su Wing’s Chinese Restaurant. In 2020, Leung decided to retire and stepped aside, leasing the restaurant to Paul and Kelly Lei, who operated the restaurant under the trade name of Su Wings. Paul and Kelly Lei have announced they are relocating their restaurant to Lake Como, where Legends used to be, and are naming the new restaurant Kelly’s Restaurant. More information will come soon when the new restaurants are closer to opening. The fare will likely not be Chinese food, although the menu is as yet unannounced.
