The City of Lake Geneva Police Department is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, September 18th, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Southeastern Wisconsin is experiencing a critical blood supply shortage and could use our help. The shortage puts patients at risk, with potential consequences including delayed surgeries and treatments for trauma victims, cancer patients, and those undergoing transplants. The situation is compounded by increased demand, missed appointments, and a generally low donation rate across the state and nation.

Certain blood types have less than a day’s worth of availability, which is dire for patient care. Blood transfusions are a lifeline for many individuals. Every donation has the potential to save multiple lives. To help support the police department and those in need, donate on Thursday upstairs in City Hall in the police training room.
