RECOGNITION TO IGNITION
We do not live in a no-fault culture; those of us who enjoy the geographic, social, and economic benefits of residing in the United States of America. Fundamental to our social order is a social system that is a distillation of Calvinistic Puritanical beliefs developed over time in previous eras. Here in America, we believe in the work ethic. One must work to survive and to enjoy any social approval (other than those ‘exempt among us’ who inherit large amounts of cash). One must also hold on to a belief system of strict accountability. We are accountable for just about everything we do in our culture, and that is assured by over fifty thousand laws, rules, and more existing to ensure it.
The rest of the world plays by different rules because it is founded upon different belief systems. The tropic zones lack most understanding of what we know to be the work ethic. The survival of humans over millions of years in these areas did not depend upon doing what we know as work. Food was in the bushes or trees. Shade and shelter were found under palm trees. Skin color developed because of the vast differences in the vastly different effects of geographic conditions. Black skin favored survival in regions beaten down by hot tropical suns. White skin favored those in less tropical places, while yellow skin was to be found in the far north or south parts of the planet.
We have never learned to live together peacefully with all our differences. The differences that are cloaked (like what we think, how we act in private, and so on) are mostly ignored. It is the obvious differences that have created trouble around the planet. It is better to be white because most humans are white, except in areas where white is not dominant, and then the dominant color provides for better survival results. Color is self-evident and cannot be hidden. The United States is still dominated by the white population, although all of us know that this is changing rapidly. The only change we should not expect is acceptance among the new colors emerging, either for the white majority it replaces or other colors surging up to a position of more dominance.
Men choose women for partners whom they perceive to be attractive. Men tend to choose young women of certain well-defined body measurements. Those measurements also change from geographic area to geographic area, but remain fairly stable. Men find females attractive if those women appear to be able to be healthy enough to produce healthy babies from impregnation. Women find older men more attractive simply because an established male may be more likely to successfully support their offspring. All of this is well known throughout sociology, anthropology, and psychology. It is also well proven that this information is encoded in our genetic makeup, just as our attraction or aversion to skin color has little to do with learned behavior. Humans fear snakes, heights, and strangers from birth. We are encoded to fear things different from our experience after the basal fears are applied, and that most definitely includes color.
Racial problems and violence are not going away anytime soon. Learned behavior overcomes encoded behavior over time, and with ample proof that our encoding is in error for our best survival. Humans can even grow to love heights, snakes, and strangers, given such proof and time. America’s difficulties in accommodating our racial problems are going to continue to move from the recognition of race to the ignition of hostilities, as this recognition also includes powerful elements of long-held dominance. Only through our pervasive systems of education can we overcome our naturally encoded tendencies and beat back racial differences to the point where ignition is never reached.
Today’s leadership chooses to magnify and worsen the natural human encoding to have one color of skin dislike or fear another color. The overt violence that pervades America’s supposed immigrant or migrant problem is not that at all. It is merely a great covering mask for using the ‘tool’ of racial discrimination to set the nation in flames. The leadership will use any device it can lay its hands on, including nuclear weapons, the murder of civilians without due process, and more, to prevent one thing, and one thing only.
