SURPRISING STUFF

Town of Linn.
Whoever is doing the hiring of police officers in the community known as the Town of Linn is doing an outstanding job, if the person of Chris Brunning.  This great guy is a graduate of UW in criminal justice and has a great, penetrating, and openly friendly and expressive personality. The chief of police over there is also a class act.  Usually, we don’t get to meet police officers unless they live next door or at a car stop, and therefore don’t always meet them under the most favorable of social circumstances.  Meeting Chris will make your day, though under almost any circumstance.

Thanksgiving is here.
Walworth County Complimentary Dinner is a big deal. This free community meal has been a part of the giving season in the area for decades. Thanksgiving meals are available for all those who want or need them. It is a wonderful dinner that brings the community together during the holidays.

Donations have been pouring in from all over. All food is being donated, and volunteers cook and serve the meal. A beautiful example of the wonderful people who make the county so great. The dinner will be on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. at the Waters Edge, 1220 South Shore Drive on Delavan Lake. Have a safe a happy Thanksgiving.
