THE BRIGHT SIDE

The most anticipated cookie walk in the Lake Geneva area is back.
Shop for thousands of cookies to make your cookie plates look their seasonal best. Doors open at 8:30 am. Sale starts at 9:00 am and lasts until they run out…and they WILL run out, so don’t be late. This year’s proceeds will be shared with Agape House.

The mission of Agape House is to assist in bringing transformational hope and healing to at-risk youth, their families, and the community. Please join in this holiday tradition with First Congregational UCC to stock up on beautifully decorated cookies for eating and gift-giving while supporting a local cause.

Get ready to take the plunge—literally!
Freezin’ for a Reason is back for another thrilling, heartwarming, and slightly wild winter fundraiser that makes a real difference in our local communities. Freezin’ for a Reason gives water-skiers, wakeboarders, surfers, and tubers of all ages a unique opportunity to brave the chilly waters of Geneva Lake to raise money for the 531 Fund, which supports “The Charities of Christmas” all located in Walworth County.

Dive into the fun as brave participants take on the cold water and put on a show. Bundle up and join the crowd on shore for live entertainment, a high-energy winter ski show by the Aquanuts, hot drinks, food, raffles, and exciting silent and live auctions. All proceeds support local charities throughout the 531-zip code region, helping fund programs that serve children, families, healthcare, disabilities, safety, and more.

Whether you’re skiing, plunging, cheering, or bidding, you’re making a difference. So, grab your winter gear, rally your team, and join us for a freezing good time! This unique event takes place on December 6th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pier 290 in Williams Bay.
