LITTLE GEMS

Foxconn, that phony company that has so taken Kenosha and Racine for a ride (and before that Pennsylvania), is still in play.
Thanks to the non-help provided by Ron Johnson and the cooperation of the University of Wisconsin, Fond du Lac didn’t get the building basically vacated in Racine (the one million square foot building they constructed to do nothing) by Foxconn and the thousand or so jobs that might have gone to Wisconsin workers to construct the new U.S. postal vehicles.  Instead of that happening the jobs went to another state in another waiting building.

A Foxconn executive leaves the company, meanwhile, and becomes a big part of the University of Wisconsin’s entrepreneur training school.  Is this the kind of material that the university really wants or needs?  Is this the kind of reward both Johnson and this Foxconn clown get for, once again, pulling the wool over the slowly blinking eyes of rural Wisconsin once more?

Oh, it also appears that Foxconn has other plans for the building, so it wasn’t interested in selling to the Fond du Lac company.  Well, how about all those families that were forced out so Foxconn could build the crummy building by the communities nearby using eminent domain designations.  Why did Racine and Kenosha not pull out that card?  Finally, the state where the contract from the USPS went is South Carolina.

When will Wisconsin wise up and toss out these Taiwanese carpetbaggers?  Ron Johnson, part-time senator, should certainly lose his job over this move alone.  His comment about it was all about how Wisconsin doesn’t need any more jobs, as it has too many jobs open to be filled now.  Oh, thank you great seer of the future.
