LIVING HERE

Deirdre Dillon Fesenmaier is no longer with us.
She was the daughter of an Irish southside Chicago police officer, sister of 6 siblings, mom of 2, grandmother of 3. Deirdre was known for her high intellect and dynamic personality and her work in being the key personality at the Grandview/Geneva Inn for many years. She retired from The Geneva Inn after working as the receptionist and hostess for two decades there. She was adored and treasured by just about everyone who went to that establishment. Deirdre, and Dick Malmin, living next door, also shared in annual Bald Eagle sightings and delighted in the contest to be the first to see this national bird in the area.  Deirdre leaves behind a wonderful husband, just a week short of their 35th wedding anniversary. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and still love her.
