With Autumn officially here a kaleidoscope of colors will soon replace the lush green treetops of the summer season.
Fall colors typically peak in Lake Geneva mid to late October everyone looking anywhere outside can already see signs of this happening. Lake Geneva is a prime location to enjoy the changing colors of fall, with its wonderful abundance of natural beauty. The Geneva Lake Shore Path is one of the most popular ways to soak in the beauty while the Lake Geneva Gage Marine cruise line is another, both offering amazing views with splashes of color along the water’s edge. There are many other great ways to enjoy the autumn colors around Geneva Lake. Take a drive down Snake Road, one of the most popular scenic drives and a great way to appreciate the beauty of all four Wisconsin seasons. Lake Geneva fall color is estimated right now to be at about 25%, and not expected to peak until the third week of October. As the middle of October approaches, the time is now to start tracking and watching the color changes and taking as many pictures as your photographic equipment is capable of.
