Lake Geneva’s downtown Holiday Shopping Open House is set for the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Saturday and Sunday November 19th and 20th are all about getting in the holiday spirit; the weekend will be filled with shopping, dining, sipping, staying, and playing. The downtown storefronts will be adorned with wonderful Christmas fun for the season and for a chance to win the Holiday Window Display Competition themed the Twelve Days of Christmas. The Twelve Days of Christmas during this annual holiday weekend is the perfect time to enjoy holiday decorations and start whittling away at a prepared Christmas gift list.

A Veterans Day celebration will be held on Friday, November 11th, at 9:30 a.m., at the Lake Geneva Middle School. The community is invited to this annual event. The celebration will include patriotic music performed by the middle school orchestras and bands and a sing along of “God Bless America”. The American Legion Post 24 will be there, and the Color Guard will Post Colors. Veterans are encouraged to come and introduce themselves and share.
After the ceremony all are invited for a luncheon at 11 a.m. A head count of those coming to the lunch is appreciated and can RSVP by Thursday November 3rd by calling 262-348-3000. Veterans Day is a time for all to honor and pay respect for those who served.
