Residents of Lake Geneva and others were abandoned by their elected representatives Monday night. Straube (District 1), Yunker (District 1), Dunn (District 3), Howell (District 4) did not show up for the Committee of the Whole meeting. Because of the absences, the meeting was canceled due to a lack of quorum. Many citizens were there to talk and listen. Our city assessor drove 2 hours to present information to residents and citizens. If Alderpeople do not want to hear what the citizens have to say, they should resign from office.
