LITTLE GEMS
The 175th Walworth County Fair starts on August 28th and goes through Labor Day on September 2nd.
This is a big one. The fairgrounds will be filled with an abundance of exhibits, exciting concerts, tractor and truck pulls, demolition derby, and so much more. The fair, as always, will include animal barns, carnival rides, games, and so much delicious fair food. Daily admission for the fair is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for kids, and 5 and under get in for free.
For those who are regular attendees to the fair, and plan on going most days, a season pass is $45 for adults and $15 for a junior season pass. For a more detailed schedule, and event lineup, and to purchase tickets online, check out the website at walworthcountyfairgrounds.com.
This is a traditional end-of-summer event for Walworth County residents, and so many others living anywhere close to the area. The fair ends on Labor Day, which means the kids go back to school, that makes it a bittersweet week for families, ending with quite possibly a bit of relief.
