HELL IS COMING TO BREAKFAST
He no longer has to care. The Divine Right of Kings has taken over the government of the United States and there is little that a country that should have been so prepared for this kind of nasty twisting insanity to strike from the inside, when (of course) the country is the strongest that it has ever been. A pot of gold has to be there or be rumored to be there to attract the treasure hunters, the land despoilers, the grave robbers, and now the republican party, as those forces belly up to the trough and sink first their teeth and then their entire heads into. While crying away that cuts are coming and tariffs are being created to be enforced to save or add jobs, cut prices, and pay back the deficit, the truth is much bolder and right in front of everyone.
The president was not surrounded by regular citizens of any kind at his inauguration, he was surrounded by the mega-billionaires. Can a regular citizen look at those photos of those people and not conclude that the common man is about to be bilked out of just anything it can be bilked out of? Tariffs invariably raise prices over time simply because the purveyors of the goods coming in have the prices increased to include the additional amount. The U.S. government gets that tariff money right off the top as the goods are brought across the borders. That. is tantamount to an additional tax on the purchasers. The purchasers are you and I and the rest of the Americans buying anything. If you put a tariff on avocados, for example, that does not mean that people will turn to local avocados to purchase instead of the higher-priced ones being brought across the borders. You see, there simply aren’t any more avocados produced in the U.S. to meet that demand. The public must then pay the higher prices, and so on. No new avocado orchards will be opened and farmed because of the motivation brought about by the tariffs. It does not work that way.
For one thing, it would take massive amounts of money, the land, the weather, and years to grow the avocados. This same logic transfers easily over to almost all the other products that you are going to see the prices go up for. The United States is setting itself up to shut down and allow the robbers to take what has been accumulated, saved, and invested in areas that have huge assets that have never been penetrated before. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran’s benefits, and more are about to be taken apart and reassembled to penetrate those assets, all the while the claims will be that the ‘swamp is being drained’ or the deficit has to be funded. The media that hasn’t been totally purchased by these new tech robber barons (like the Washington Post, the L.A. Times, ABC and so many more) will be excised from being able to have access to any sources (as happened a few days ago when the new Secretary of Defense decided that all the old reporting agencies needed to be kicked out to be replaced by non-news sources that are little more than badly written sycophant and propaganda pieces of the new leadership like Breitbart, Twitter or X, and even the new right-wing Facebook.
Years ago, other financially based robber barons robbed the savings and loans to the point where there are almost none of those institutions left willing to call themselves that. Then they came for the appreciation stored up in homes and put hundreds of thousands on the streets while rewarding the banks with government money who did that to the people. The Democrats came into office after each giant robbery and did…nothing. Now, the democrats do nothing, in fact very quietly and smoothly allowing this new obvious dictator to take office and go about letting go the dogs of financial disaster…for the common man and woman, not for those with great wealth. The very people that were supposed to have put this caricature of a leader in office will also be the ones, having no real voice, who will be losing almost everything across the board. The economy of the U.S. is now larger and more powerful than all other economies on earth put together! That’s the target.
The military of the U.S. is now better funded and more powerful than all other militaries on earth put together! That means that the protectors of the robber barons and the collectors of money owed will be wearing Army, Navy, and Marine uniforms. There has never been any historical record of the kind of rape of a wondrous giant land of the free, the brave, and the wealthy that can be gone back to to try to figure out what’s going to be the result. You and I, and the rest of the common people of this great country are going to have a front-row seat (until they take and sell those seats!) to watch the fireworks that simply must be the coming result.
As the terrific line from the movie Outlaw Josey Wales stated: “Hell is coming to breakfast.”
