Two people died Saturday in two reported drowning incidents on Delavan Lake.
The body of a man from Texas was recovered after he drowned in Delavan Lake over the July 4th holiday weekend. His identity has not been released. While the investigation remains active, authorities do not suspect foul play.

The Walworth County 911 Communications Center received reports of a man in the water near the Viewcrest area of Delavan Lake around 2:30 p.m. on July 5. Multiple agencies assisted the Town of Delavan Police and Town of Delavan Fire and Rescue response, including dive and sonar teams from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

The response comes hours after law enforcement responded to reports of another possible drowning. First responders from the Town of Delavan arrived just after 11:30 a.m. at South Shore Drive on the northeast side of Delavan Lake. They found a 57-year-old man from LaGrange Park, Illinois, unresponsive on a boat. Despite lifesaving measures, the man died at the scene. His name has not been released. Authorities do not suspect foul play as the investigation continues.

Thursday, July 10th, from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m. will be yet another wonderful concert in Flat Iron Park.
This is the third concert of the season, with several more to come. Get family and friends together, grab your lounge chairs or a blanket, and set up early in front of the Brunk Pavilion and enjoy an evening of great music and a beautiful view of Geneva Lake. This week, the featured band is Frank Martin Busch & The Names. The music style is a heartland twang with a modern grit to it. This is expected to be a very entertaining band and another great concert in the park.
