After two years in the making of a shared passion for community-centered art, the Business Improvement District has been working with the famous artist Mauricio Ramirez to bring one of his masterpieces to life. Coming to Lake Geneva this week, Mauricio will be this year’s featured muralist for the continued Art in Motion program as part of his US Summer Mural Tour. Mauricio Ramirez is best known for his vivid, large-scale murals across the Midwest.

Perhaps his most iconic and widely recognized piece is the 55‑foot‑tall Giannis Antetokounmpo mural in downtown Milwaukee, portraying the Milwaukee Bucks star, which quickly became a local landmark. His pieces draw in crowds wanting to catch a glimpse and picture of his art. His unique style will find its home in Lake Geneva at 601 W Main Street, welcoming people as part of the gateway to downtown. This event is larger than life and fun to watch.
