The Highway 50 project will begin as expected and is going to impact the entire city.
The Lake Geneva Public Works meetings will include updates on the upcoming Highway 50 construction project. The last meeting included the status of the project, which is on schedule and has some pre-project tasks happening right now. Jason Dulgren, the project manager with the WISdot, reported milestones.

Events are on schedule, and real estate acquisition and utility coordination have started. WISdot will be scheduling Public Information Meeting #2. This public meeting is expected to be in late 2025 or early 2026. WISdot will be scheduling a workshop with the city of Lake Geneva and a group of engineers soon. Before this public meeting, there will be a meeting with the business improvement district and local officials.
