THE DEAFENING ATTACK ON MEDIA
It is almost like they have a special secret committee that sits there, day by day and week by week, month by month, and creates just awful and contemptible stuff to come up with next. Every day it’s a new violation of everything this country used to stand for, while the lower thirty percent of the population, formerly called morons, imbeciles, and idiots (but now MAGA republicans) continue to celebrate such vapid stupidity that it stuns the rest of the population. How long will a little local newspaper such as you are reading right now be able to be allowed to survive?
I’m going to tell you the very uncomfortable truth. It will not be. The allowance permitted by the billionaires buying up the mass media, that those entities cannot defend or warn us, and then the online and cell phone celebration of stupidity means that not only can this small bastion of the free press survive, but nothing else will either.
Only God can save us. Rich people, whether elected or rising from whatever crooked schemes most of them have gotten rich over, are not going to do one damn thing to save us. They don’t want us saved. They want us to go down into low-life miserable slavery, being slaves to them. That this will eventually mean, as historically proved over all time, in their own destruction and death, is completely unbelievable to them. They don’t read history. They don’t study at all. They ruminate and listen to sycophants paid to say things that are appealing to them. Are they that stupid? No, they are simply living on a daily dose of anesthetics they don’t know are anesthetics.
Elon Musk is a total drug addict. He does not know that because he has physicians, he pays to give him prescriptions he determines. They have nobody to tell them that their path to success is truly a path to very painful suffering and death. The masses of the people always win in the end. In France, with the revolution. In America, with the revolution. In countries across the world, the total public is finally aroused to take action because it has no other way of surviving the kind of miserable circumstances these damaged humans bring to it.
Jimmy Kimmel, the late-night comedian, makes jokes about the passing of this Charlie character, the guy with no educational credentials who became the college spokesperson for the billionaire named Ellison. He gets fired because Trump is mad at him. How this can be taken any other way than a direct assault on the Constitution’s First Amendment is impossible. If the president can have the regulatory authorities fire someone like Jimmy, then the expression of the news and any information coming to the public becomes a part of the state propaganda machine.
This has happened in countries around the world where autocrats like Donald Trump, but not as hugely powerful, have taken over. Maybe the most surprising thing in the news these days coming through the mass media about how the supporters of the Kirk killing have gone violently after anyone who expresses anything but adoration for the man or his sometimes-flawed presentations. However, the man was never one to encourage violence, although he did not shy away from sometimes supporting it either. As with most men, he was good on the one hand and bad on the other…and those two things require subjective opinion to consider and apply. How he came from nowhere with almost no credentials to become so effective and successful on the campus lecture circuit brings back thoughts of Hal Lindsay and the Campus Crusade for Christ. Flawed as all get out, but enormously successful. Is that what it is all about today, that and only that? It would sure seem so. Too Bad Charlie isn’t with us anymore to debate the issue.
That the mass media may no longer be an effective force to display and communicate facts instead of being supplied with politically driven lies, is about to happen right in front of all of us. The newspaper you are reading gets a much more gentle kick in the butt by people who do not like its liberal slant, and they can be pretty violent-leaning about it.
The GSR does not publish the death threats and seldom reports them to the police. But they linger there like scum on the top of a pond. If one wants to survive on this planet and in this culture, then it is much safer to publish lies instead of what one believes to be the truth. Violent people do not take real action against the lying (check the punishments for liars to the top in Washington…not), they will often kill over the publishing of the truth, however. Charlie Kirk was killed for telling what he believed to be the truth. Rest in peace…
