Everyone in and around Lake Geneva got a glimpse of the future with the beautiful spring-like weather this past weekend.
That also brought about some spring activities. At least four golf courses in southern Wisconsin have announced plans to be open for play, two with temporary tees and/or greens, early this week. Evergreen Golf Club in Elkhorn and Majestic Oaks GC at Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan opened for early golf, all thanks to the ‘heat wave’. Some courses were open with temporary greens. You could see people ice fishing and golfing at Lake Lawn along the shores of Delavan Lake. That was quite a unique view. Only in Wisconsin would you experience multiple seasons in one day.

2026 marks the 10th Annual Berkshire Hathaway Stark Real Estate Diaper Drive benefiting the Bridge Food and Diaper Bank.
Throughout February, they will be collecting donations of diapers, changing supplies, and incontinence products for both babies and adults. You can purchase products and drop them off at their office at 168 E. Geneva Square, or you can buy directly from their Amazon Wishlist and have them shipped right to the office. Last year, they received over 2,300 diapers.
Please help them meet this year’s goal of 2,500!
