LITTLE GEMS
How did the telephone companies become whores?
Well, maybe prostitutes would be a better term to describe them, since the phone companies have all sold out to scammers and spam attackers. They are selling phone numbers with local area codes that cannot be called back. Non-existent number or unable to accept calls is all you get when you call back one of the numbers to see who the deadly silent nobody was who called you.
The phone companies are making money by selling numbers deliberately set up so they cannot be traced or called back. They are also participating in this App system, wherein anyone joining WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, and the rest can get an App cell number, so they cannot be found or traced to any location. If you get a call from an App number, then you should know instantly that the person calling you does not want you to know who they are and is most probably not even in this country. Lately, the two countries most likely to have such callers are Ghana and Nigeria.
These are ‘no no’ items in the financial system we all live in:
1. Never accept money from anyone because you have a good, solid bank account and they do not have access to one. That’s a scam or a person you do not want to be involved with financially.
2. Never have anything to do with anyone who knows which gift cards can instantly be turned into untraceable cash. Just knowing that means the person telling you has probably been scammed or is scamming you.
3. Never send money to someone’s PayPal address who gives such an address that belongs to someone you’ve never heard of, and not that person asking you to send the money.
4. Never use an online dating site; they are mostly owned by scammers and have wonderful model photos to attract old lonely men with money. Beautiful women do not need dating sites. They need baseball bats to beat off all the men who chase after them!
5. Be very wary of revealing to your bank that you think you are being or have been scammed. Your bank will likely investigate you for being a scammer and then put a special marker on your account, no matter what they find out.
And no, banks do not generally make good on money you have been scammed out of; that’s a myth. They are afraid you will sue them; however, this is why there becomes an open suspicion that you may be a scammer yourself.
