Get out of your ‘advantage’ medical plan or Plan C, as they call it.
After March 2027, the insurance companies behind all the plans are going to be allowed by law to non-renew or cancel all customers/insureds who do not medically qualify. They were forced to accept everyone applying due to Obamacare. If you have any health problems and filed claims, then you need to get back into regular Medicare, which you can do this year until December 7th.
If you get cancelled next year, then you have to wait until October of 2027 to get back into regular Medicare. Rotten, but there it is. The Advantage plans indicate that they will be dropping three million of their subscribers due to poor health. Thank you all, you members of the Republican Party!
Three members of the Lake Geneva Police Department were recognized for extraordinary bravery by Mayor Todd Krause.
Honored first responders include Chief Edward Gritzner, Lieutenant Seth Keller, and Officer Theon Ward. They were all on duty when a deadly storm went through Lake Geneva. Straight-line winds near 100 mph hit Geneva Lake, causing a boat carrying 10 people to capsize in waves over six feet high. The three officers navigated the severe storm on a new patrol boat and arrived at the scene approximately six minutes after the 911 call. Three children died when the boat they were on.
