LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Dear Walmart & Target, Home Depot, and all other stores that have self-checkout. You are almost exclusively self-checkout now. The last time I was there, you had a lady stopping everyone at the exit, checking receipts. I didn’t choose to participate in that nonsense, so I just skipped the exit line and left. I heard her saying “Sir, Uh, Sir” as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store. You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like they used to be.
I’m not interested in proving that I did your job for you. If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that’s your problem, not mine. Don’t audit me for a position you refuse to have any longer.

The one lady I observed checking peoples’s receipts was somewhat rude. In the fall it was obvious this young fella was working. He had his painting clothes on. He came in the Walmart to buy a fan. Paint dries faster with a fan blowing. Threyoung fella had a little beard and longer hair.
She profiled him by chasing after him to see the receipt probably because of his hair style and beard. He bought nothing else., but the fan, He held up his receipt above his head. She actually touched him I saw it myself. He said to her Why are you touching me? Don’t touch me I try to ignore her whenever I see this same lady. For the most part I have chosen not to shop at Walmart because of her behavior.
If you want to stop the stealing that does take place at the Walmart store , you need to have a couple policemen twalk thru the store on Sundays between 5:00b and 7:00 pm on.Many high school kids are in the store stealing many things especially the make up section.
