Edie (the retail store) has settled in and has decided to expand its presence in Lake Geneva.
Edie Boutique has been a part of downtown Lake Geneva since 2015 and plans on sticking around for many more years. This trendy little one-stop shop has a little of everything when it comes to fashion. Edie is in the process of opening a second location just two doors down from the current store. Marigold will be the new store, but will temporarily house the Eddie store while some renovations and updates take place. Edie will continue to carry their wonderful clothing and accessories.
Baker House may have a buyer. The historic Baker House has been up for sale for many months without much more than a nibble. Allegedly, Andrew Fritz, the current owner is saying that is about to change and the Baker House has a substantial bite. The talk around town is that the owner of the Carefree Boat Club, Ronald Wolf, is considering the purchase of the mansion which includes the pier that the boat club already uses for their boat rentals. Neither party has responded to the GSR at this time, and no contract has been confirmed.
