LITTLE GEMS
Art in the Park is celebrating 45 years.
Festivities start Saturday, August 9th, and go through Sunday, August 10th. The Fine Arts & Crafts Show is presented by the Geneva Lake Arts Foundation and is always an inspiration. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy this great view and purchase some exceptional art in a beautiful lakefront setting. Art in the Park is a juried fine art show featuring more than 80 distinguished artists exhibiting a variety of media, including clay/pottery, fiber, glass, printmaking, jewelry, metal, mixed media, oil/acrylic painting, pastel, photography, sculpture, watercolor, and wood.
The event will also feature a silent auction, live entertainment, food and beverages, and a children’s activity tent. Don’t miss the opportunity to bid on artwork donated by our exhibiting artists at the Silent Auction Tent. The bidding will end on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. At the close of the auction each day, winners will be notified by cell phone and will be asked to pick up their item within 2½ hours of the auction closing. The “Just for Kids” activities are located in the Flat Iron Park Gazebo. Visit with the kids and enjoy creating a fun “Make and Take” art project!
