As time goes by…
The very surrounding, cultural mores, rules, and systems may be cast into the wind as the government changes into something that might just be unrecognizable to most, if not all, of its citizens. The legal system of Walworth County is a staple of steady administration, as well as the court of appeals in Wisconsin and finally, the state Supreme Court…where things can finally be appealed to. The stability of Walworth County, a good portion of it, is going to rest in the hands and minds of a few good proven people.
Michele Jacobs is Clerk of the Court and such a great help in steering things along and getting necessary things done. The judges are Johnson, Drettwan, Reddy, and Commissioner Navis…all straight arrows and true blue (although they are human so give them a break sometimes). The district attorney is Zeke Wiedenfeld and he’s as tough as he needs to be but totally fair in every circumstance.
Why is all this very important right now for everyone in and experiencing the county?
Because things are likely to get pretty uncertain as this tremendous set of changes sweeps in, like never before in America’s history. Who can everyone count on for fairness and equal treatment in every area of legality and protection? The local police operations, all of quality and fairness now, and our court workers, judges, clerks, and more. We all have this as a Christmas present and on into a New Year’s gift as well. Take heart. That this quality staffed system is already in place is great news.
When dramatic change is going on, no matter what kind, the local populations need all the protection and care they can get. Walworth County and the local police departments (and sheriffs) are delivering!
