LITTLE GEMS

The last two murals from the BID’s Murals in Motion event back in May are finally getting approval to be placed downtown for everyone to enjoy.
This has been a much longer process than anyone expected even the BID members were under the impression the murals would be placed in early June. These two panels left to be placed were waiting for ordinance changes to allow the panels to be installed. Both of the murals were completed offsite to be installed at a later date. The installation of the panels will require half a day to drill in the mortar and hang the panels.

The first of the last two murals will be placed at 120 Broad Street on the north-facing wall in the alleyway between Bob’s Beach Shack and Sterling Works Jewelers. The second mural will be placed at 214 Broad Street on the west-facing wall in the alley between China West and Egg Harbor. The murals have been a real joy for so many and have enhanced the experience of Lake Geneva. The addition of the last two depicting the lake fun and dungeons and dragons will only positively add to the downtown.
