LITTLE GEMS

The Balloon Adventure is back and opens to the public on Thursday, March 6th.
This is a one-of-a-kind event and an unforgettable experience. The countless number of balloons make up a magical scene of underwater beauty. This is no small feat and worth a tour. The Balloon Adventure will be at Pier 290, in the boat showroom, in Williams Bay. From March 6th through March 16th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. you can tour the magical display. The theme this year is the deep blue sea and it’s going to be wonderful. Bring the whole family or plan a group outing and Voyage into the Deep Blue Sea for a great adventure and support a great cause at the same time. To get tickets and get more information about the event; https://bit.ly/4aRV8pW. Email questions; the balloonadventure@gmail.com. The proceeds from this event will benefit Santa Cause and Camp Timber-Lee. Tickets are $20.00 per person.

Lake Geneva’s potholes.
Tis the season, once again. Tom Earle and his team in the public works department are all over this developing problem, as they are every year. No, nobody is waiting for the Main Street widening overhaul, or whatever the heck it’s going to be, to fix the potholes by filling them in with hot tar and gravel. The problem is not Tom and his team. The problem is that everyone here lives through difficult seasons for some pursuits. Tar and gravel cannot be placed inside the holes, even very large ones like the giant pothole right out from KFC on Main, because the weather is too cold. When the hot tar cools too quickly and has even colder substance to attach itself to, well, it simply won’t stick. Have patience.  The problem is at the very top of the public works list.

No, the mystery part to put into place to make the city meeting vastly expensive equipment operate to allow the public to view them is not here yet.
Either the Crackerjack Corporation is taking its time to work this part, costing tens of thousands of dollars to build, or the mining going on Jupiter’s largest moon wherein the product must be shipped through space, only to arrive many years after the time it was shipped.  Who knows where the part is?  Apparently, not one person in all contacted has the faintest idea when the Channel 25 system can be completed
