LITTLE GEMS
Wee Nip Par 3 Course opens at Grand Geneva.
A new 11-hole par 3 golf course that families, golfers, and avid golfers can enjoy. The course, called Wee Nip, is an 11-hole layout designed by Matt Dusenberry of Dusenberry Design. Each hole averages about 90 yards, designed to be completed in roughly 90 minutes. The name comes from a Scottish term for a small drink or quick sip, a nod to the course’s casual approach. Unlike a traditional full-length course, Wee Nip is designed to appeal to a wide range of golfers, from experienced players to families and beginners.
The shorter layout is intended to encourage creativity around the greens instead of relying on distance off the tee. The course also includes a viewing area with food and beverage service and music, adding to the more social atmosphere around the layout. For Grand Geneva, the course is a way to give golfers another option beyond a traditional round, while making the game feel more approachable for new players.
