LITTLE GEMS

Free Parking begins soon.
From November 15th through January 31st, it costs nothing to park in Lake Geneva. Locals look forward to this time as the city slows down a bit and the people who call this area home get to enjoy downtown without paying for parking. This also means winter parking regulations begin. From November 15th through March 31st, vehicles may not park on any city street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. There is also no parking allowed all year from 3 a.m. through 6 a.m. downtown. When the snow decides to fall, there is no street parking until the snow is removed; violators of these rules may be ticketed.

Thanksgiving is almost here.
Walworth County Complimentary Dinner is a big deal. This free community meal has been a part of the giving season in the area for decades. Thanksgiving meals are available for all those who want or need it. It is a wonderful dinner that brings the community together during the holidays. Donations have been pouring in from all over. All food is being donated, and volunteers cook and serve the meal. This Thanksgiving meal is available for dining in, carryout, and delivery. If you or someone you know is in need of a delivery order, they need to be placed by November 20th.

Delivery orders can be made by calling 262-749-4621 and any contributions towards this annual event reach out to the Walworth County Community Thanksgiving Dinner Facebook page or donate through their Zeffy Donation Portal. A beautiful example of the wonderful people who make the county so great. The dinner will be on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. at the Waters Edge, 1220 South Shore Drive on Delavan Lake. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
