Construction on Highway 50 in Delavan has begun.
WisDOT recently announced a $2.8 million resurfacing and improvement project along Highway 50 in Walworth County. This project will make improvements to approximately 3.7 miles of Highway 50, between Highway 67 and Lake Lawn Drive in the City of Delavan. Improvements include removing and replacing asphalt pavement. Upgraded traffic signals include the intersection of Town Hall and Wisconsin 67. Upgraded pedestrian accommodations. Storm sewer cleaning and repairs. New guardrail over the Delavan Lake Inlet bridge. New pavement markings and signage.
Highway 50, between Highway 67 and Lake Lawn Drive, will be closed to through traffic. Access to businesses and residents along Highway 50 will be maintained. This project is scheduled for completion by mid-fall 2025. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
