Geneva Lakes Family YMCA is hosting a weeklong event called My Y Week Dec. 2nd to 8th, 2024.
All week long the YMCA will have events planned to help them reach a goal of $5,000. All donations benefit the Financial Assistance & Community Outreach programs. On Monday visit Buona Beef in Lake Geneva between 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the YMCA will receive 20% of sales when our fundraising flyer is shown. This flyer can be found at the Y, on the website at GenevaLakesYMCA.org/myyweek or on the Facebook page at GenevaLakesFamilyYMCA. On Wednesday visit Culvers of Lake Geneva between 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the YMCA will receive 20% of all sales made that day from all customers. No flyer or membership card needs to be shown.
Friday the YMCA will host a Blood Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Give blood and receive a T-shirt and a Culver’s custard. Sign up at the Front Desk or at tinyurl.com/3druvzk8. Then enjoy a magical night with Santa on Friday, December 6th. Ther will be crafts, hot chocolate, and pictures with Santa himself. This is a FREE community event! Toy donations will be accepted. On Sunday Visit MOD Pizza in Lake Geneva between 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The YMCA will receive 20% of sales when our fundraising flyer is shown. Blood transfusions are a lifeline for many individuals and the City of Lake Geneva Police Department is trying to do its part. From cancer patients to accident victims, blood transfusions are needed to save lives. One blood transfusion can help save multiple lives. The police department will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, December 20th. This will take place at city hall upstairs in the police training room from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointments are encouraged by calling 877-232-4376.
