LIVING HERE

On Thursday, March 23rd, the Milwaukee Public Museum unveiled sketches of the new museum building’s ‘Wisconsin Journey’ gallery.
The goal of the new exhibit is to help visitors see the “wealth of natural and cultural wonders” the state has to offer, and features “distinct, diverse and dynamic natural and cultural landscapes.” Wisconsin Journey will include six different areas of the state: Driftless Area, Prairie, Apostle Islands, Northwoods, Great Lakes and Door Peninsula. Other new galleries include Time Travel, dedicated to exploring the deep past, including when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, through three of the planet’s geological chapters: The Paleozoic Era, Mesozoic Era, and Cenozoic Era. This place will remain the home of the current T-Rex. Milwaukee Revealed, a gallery that’s similar to “Streets of Old Milwaukee” will immerse visitors in city streetscapes they can explore to learn about the history of the city.

Living in a Dynamic World, takes visitors on an unconventional journey to five distinct ecosystems across the globe, where they will be immersed in the landscapes and cultures that occupy them. Rainforest, an exhibit that transports visitors to the tropics to learn about the biodiversity that flourishes in tropical rainforests and the life rainforest climates support and includes a butterfly exhibit and rooftop terrace. These exhibits will be located at the museum’s new location adjacent to the Deer District. The new museum will break ground in 2023 and is scheduled to open in 2026.

Livingston, I presume…
This bright and well-educated benefit to all of Town of Linn, is amazing. How do the citizens and voters get this kind of talent to run for leadership positions that pay nearly nothing?  How many retired engineers, teachers and therapists are there out there who might consider running for an office which serves up a basically thankless return and a reward of near pennies a month when compared to other leadership positions of such responsibility in almost any business, local or distant?  It’s hard. One way is to really support the citizens, very much like Livingston, who show interest in helping and truly serving the community.

This man does not stand alone in Town of Linn.  People like Weiss and Zimmerman and Palmer are of the same caliber, which makes Town of Linn one of the best served communities located around Geneva Lake.  Jim is up for supervisor once more.  Don’t let the town down and vote April 4th for this terrific man.
