GALVANIC CULTURAL EARTHQUAKE COMING
Democracy is coming to the USA were the first lyrics of a Leonard Cohen song about true naked democracy coming to this country as the republican form of democracy is attacked and subject to catastrophic failure, as is the case in the United States right now on several fronts. The kind of democracy Cohen was so farsightedly predicting was a democracy where people, without control or out of control, do what the majority of the people present want to do, and his conclusion of such events was that it would occur with tremendous violence.
What is bringing about this eventuality? Since the majority, acting as a majority on the spot, does not always do the right thing or even something close, the danger could be significant. The U.S. military, police, ICE, and border patrol have fewer than 1% of the country’s population (about 2.3 million men and women serving). Even with all the weapons of war turned against the public, this force could not stand for long. The losses would be catastrophic, but have been absorbed before in other countries.
The billionaire class was allowed to take over the very top decision-making positions in the country, and this multi-billionaire group, which should have been prevented from forming, has no good intent for the country in its makeup. These paralytic parasites want more to the point of everything, and they want slavery for the survivors under them.
It’s apparent by their funding and their conduct. Even though the country’s leader has been determined to be an abuser of women and a significantly successful thief of so many different kinds of funding, these billionaires will not give him up, because his damaged vision is their very own. Gates, Zuckerberg, Thiel, Musk, Ellison, Paige, Brin, Dell, and Bezos are not patriots whatsoever, are not veterans of the military whatsoever, and are not at all doing anything but contributing to the republican cause of reducing the United States from its position as the leading country of the world to a second or third world country.
They are not true Americans. They reside on giant yachts, inside expensive limos, and occupy internationally located mansions around the world, some owning as many as twenty, with maybe one in the USA. They are truly of the world and not identifying with one country…and they want the world, not just what might be left of the USA.
What’s coming? As an anthropologist and a physicist the author of this article can predict, based upon what has happened throughout history to cultures where the wealthy is gathered together by a few and then the few, as in Rome, lord it over everyone else under them, which includes violating the women, killing and locking up those that oppose them for whatever reason and even killing them as ‘social terrorists.’ The mass media is being bought up by them. The L.A. Times, the NY Times, the Washington Journal, the Chicago Tribune, and all the news channels and stations save one, little liberal news is still allowed, to serve as an example that the hoary old presentation over the years that the media, although conservatively owned for the most part, was liberal in presentation.
It was never liberal as the owners, as blatantly demonstrated by Fox News scrubbing the news every day of anything that threatens the damaged leadership, the even more damaged appointed sycophants running what’s left of the U.S. government, and portrays all protestors as traitors of one kind or another. Democracy is, however, coming to the USA, and the small media companies, like the one publishing this article, continue to try to predict and explain the normal eventuality of totalitarian regimes and the people suffering under them.
Revolution is bloody, terminal for many, and awful to go through, although one thing is pretty certain over time…and that’s that the dictators and authoritarian leaders die violent, miserable deaths along the way, from Hitler to Mussolini, to Hussein, to Gaddafi, to Caesar, and Kings and Queens over time. The billionaires don’t read history, and certainly not small op/ed articles in small newspapers, so their ending will come as a surprise to them. They can quit being what they are, but not from their perspective. As a recent MAGA shirt indicates with its printing in red: “If Trump is a pedophile, then we don’t care.” There is simply no social or cultural reining in of such dedicated celebrations of stupidity.
