Why the “faithful” are not going to be coming for Trump…when he calls them to action. The type of men that support the president are not combatants and they are not giving almost any evidence of being much more than the tattered remains of a south that is filled with lead water running through its pipes. Yes, we have a problem that is well illustrated by what happened in Minneapolis and spread throughout the world. It’s not a black problem, except incidentally. It’s a White problem and it’s come out of the old Confederacy that isn’t old enough yet. Trump leaned into supporting some of them and a whole underground movement was born. However, they are not a movement of brilliant heroic young men, and they are mostly young and middle-aged White men who’ve come to feel, from teachings of old and bitter life experience, that they are not getting their fair share. A fair share of the money, the power, and even women. Our police forces are trained and marginally ready, except of course, for full-on armed combat. They can never be ready for that unless they go into it, and the results of combat are both very deadly and weirdly accidental. That officer with his knee on Floyd’s neck most likely did not know the man would die, and he’ll live the rest of his life regretting that he did, and the other men in his unit, as well. It’s called post-traumatic stress, and it’s what you get if you happen to live through actual armed combat.

The police are no more truly prepared mentally or physically to engage an American force at home that full-on shoots back. They can’t be and the shooters converted over from protestors if that is at all to happen, are not ready either. We have allowed our police departments to be selected against. We have allowed the departments to be selected by those mostly white males that really do think they want to be in armed conflict…simply because they never have. It is not combat to shoot others, that’s called attacking, engaging, or calling down fire. Combat begins when the humans around you start to die. It’s about getting shot at, and so many times, hit. Nobody’s ready for that. That I have done, and it is no experience any man wants to have. Trump’s close supporters will not be coming, and if they show up at all they’ll be doing it with toy weapons or none at all. One might think that this article about attacking Trump and his supporters. In defense of such an accusation, I will add that Biden’s supporters, no matter where they are from, or what they have been drinking, are not coming to violently support him either, no matter what.

The second part of this opinion/editorial is all about the money.

There is a tremendous amount of stuff going on about the money. Where did it come from? First three trillion to help during the virus, and now three more. The gross revenue from all sources for the country was only 20 trillion last year. The total taxes collected in 2019 was 3.46 trillion. In 2018 it was 3.22 trillion. Where is this seemingly filled hole of impossible depth disgorging this cash from? You could say that they are simply printing the money at the Federal Reserve, and handing it out. Six trillion is a lot of money. It has to come from somewhere. If they simply print money then all the money out in circulation is devalued, and when we are talking about six trillion dollars we are talking about one helluva devaluation. When is that going to hit, and what are other U.S. dollar holders and economies going to do with what they have left? Please try to get a grip on the enormity of the likely effect to the U.S. economy in the coming year, and to linked foreign economies, as well. The entire rest of the world has only a gross revenue of 60 trillion, with China being about a fourth of that. How rich is the U.S.? Plenty rich, when we start comparing. The U.S. defense budget is bigger than the GNP of all but twelve of the countries on earth (of which there are about 197)! There are literally trillions of dollars being held in offshore accounts wherein the people and companies that own them are kept forever secret. There are trillions of dollars right in America, kept and held by the wealthiest, a force that has grown so powerful it is called the one percent, but fearfully, quietly. Race is about the money. About the money that has been denied to black people in America. It’s about the denial of opportunity to get that money, except by certain exceptions trotted forth; people like Justice Clarence, Tiger Woods, and a few more. Unless there can be a redistribution of money, then all that will happen over Floyd will be a temporary period of anger, mourning, and the building of another statue. After WWII the U.S. took over the world, and that’s a financial fact. But what kind of a steward was the United States turned out to be?
