WOKE

Woke is a word, formerly known as being the past tense, of wake, as in waking up primarily used as a slang definition. The more modern usage originated in African American English in the 1960s. The term has evolved and can have different meanings for different people. For example, some people use it to describe being aware of social justice issues, while others use it to describe being judgmental and politically correct, and yet others use it to describe perceived weak, gay, or spineless people. There is a brand-new definition circulating, however, since the announcement by the current administration that it wants to accept into the United States for visits, and even citizenship, Russian oligarchs who would put up five million dollars to purchase a ‘gold card’ for such favor.

The new interpretation of the word would change the meaning to be a derivative of the letters used to form the word itself: W.O.K.E, as derived from Where Oligarchs Kom to End. Kommen, or idiomatically ‘kom,’ is actually the German word for come, not English or Russian, but many people will get the meaning, even if they don’t act upon the meaning.  America’s oligarchs are no longer welcome in the USA, except by a small minority of supporters of this current punishing and demented leadership circle.  Why would they be welcome here, Russian billionaires or American ones?  Their track record has run the gamut from admirable to awful, with awful becoming the standard of “Divine Right of Kings” performance.  America needs billionaires about as much as it needs kings, with the one leading country currently referring to himself as a king…and the sold-out mass media just letting it all go along with every other age-demented thing he brings up.

What is wrong with a mass media group of reporters and a great portion of the public that simply goes along with this ‘leader’ saying that Ukraine started the war they are engaged in with Russia? Everyone was able to witness on television the Russian tanks rolling toward Kiev three years ago.  What’s wrong with a great number of that same group of supposedly intelligent humans putting up with that leader saying Ukraine is being led by a dictator?  What is wrong with going after all the mineral mining rights of Ukraine to pay off the money that was spent defending it (so far, about a hundred billion dollars) to the tune of over 500 billion?

Yes, a ten-to-one repayment is certainly fair!  What is wrong with that same ‘leader’ saying to the world that the U.S. would be mining and digging away while the Russians attacked and took everything else? What about the deficit? Is the country moving to cut expenses to every normal citizen’s care and support to reduce the amount the country is in debt, as the Republicans have been carping about for the entire four years of Biden’s service? No, one of this leadership’s first moves is to raise the debt ceiling by four trillion dollars and then immediately cut the taxes for wealthy people by about three trillion. Why has it become okay in the media and among many citizens in the population of the USA to allow its ‘leader’ to say to everyone that he wants to take Greenland from Denmark, by force, if necessary, Canada, Panama, and even Mexico, not to mention the Gaza Strip in Israel?    And into this nightmare of ghoulish behavior, the Russian billionaires are to be invited to become citizens in the U.S. for a five-million-dollar purchase of a gold card while immigrants who’ve paid nothing are convicted of the crime of crossing the border without permission and then being arrested and deported for being criminals.

American citizens hold nearly five hundred million guns of all kinds, kindly endorsed and allowed to be possessed by the republican party over the years. Many of those weapons are powerful long-range hunting rifles with scopes. Most of those weapons can take down and kill a full-grown deer at a distance of over five hundred yards if the shooter is reasonable and accurate. A full-grown buck, five years old, weighs in at about two hundred pounds.  The preferred rifle caliber to take one of those bucks down would be called a 30.06, or ‘thirty-aught six,’ as it is termed.  Russian oligarchs who have appeared on television over the years would appear to weigh in at just over three hundred pounds.  That would mean that quite possibly the much more powerful Weatherby 30-378 Magnum would be required to ensure a proper ‘Woke’ result.

This article is not intended to encourage American hunters to find and then encounter these oligarchs and then commit a ‘Woke’ act, but it certainly is food for thought when those same angry and armed Americans are being forced to witness the selling out of their beloved country, or, at the very least, having that country, in their name and on their watch, become the thieving brutal and punishing force as was so accurately portrayed as the Imperium in the Star Wars saga.  Whom, among the hundreds of millions who saw those movies in the U.S. did not identify with the rebels and not Darth Vader and the forces of the Imperium? With that in mind, please ask yourself why you, and yes you, may be among those who have come to believe that being that is somehow okay for you, your future, your family, and the future of your family.

Do you want to live in a country where the mirrors in all homes and businesses must be broken or removed so that Americans no longer have to look at themselves in them? A Weatherby 30-378 Magnum costs just forty-four hundred dollars. Is it not worth the cost to add that to a hunter’s inventory given what’s developing right in front of everyone’s eyes and ears? Is not the new meaning of ‘woke’ becoming applicable or even necessary? That America’s cowardly ‘chickenhawk’ leadership refuses to support Ukraine or its other allies is simply more reason, as the rural population of the country suffers from all the coming cut to its support or life, to consider that Russian oligarchs may indeed make most excellent and cheap fertilizer as they roam across the country’s plains, fields and highways.  You hunters may want to g o out there and ‘’personalize’ your very own olig8arch.
