SLIDING INTO DISCHEVELMENT
There is little question that the President of the United States is in medical and mental trouble, just as there’s also no question that the country is moving right along with him as he slides toward oblivion. The main concern for the country is how long it will be before the horrible tumult the country now lives with, the potentially terminal polarization making most of the population miserable, and even everyone’s health and finances can hold out until he’s fully gone, health-wise or mentally.
His biggest protector is not Putin, nor the rolling incompetence of some of the worst appointees ever appointed. No, his biggest protector is the massed voices of television, the Internet, and in print that have been acquired, controlled, or bribed by this. The mass media sanitizes his presentations as he grows worse and worse at being able to associate things and use verbiage that eight-year-olds are more capable of than him.
About the only bastions of honorable presentation left are MSNBC (it is having its name changed by another cold-a-the-driven-snow republican named Ellison who bought the network) on television, The Washington Post in print, and Raw Story on the Internet. It is also, because of the mass media, most unlikely that when the Epstein files are finally leaked or released that what’s in them will reach the eyes and ears of the American public. The big money finally overcame all limits and rules to raise this leader to a position of near totalitarian power (the use of the word near is deliberate here, as the man, if physically or mentally still living, because he has three and a half more years to do what he is doing).
The nation that fought, struggled, and came together against so many obstacles to become a compassionate bastion of care, consideration, invention, and intellect is being dismantled by some of the most cold-blooded humans ever to sit in positions of great power. The transition from what the country was to what it is fast becoming is taking place right in front of all of us, while we are also all being lied to. Our judiciary is the greatest, most effective, and honest assembly of dedicated professionals the world has ever seen, yet the country’s leadership runs it down at every opportunity to the point where eventually nobody will want to be a lawyer, much less a judge, bailiff, probation officer, or any job connected to the judiciary.
Television ads have become filled with lies and fakery as products are pushed at the public that don’t work or will hurt the public while they pay to be hurt (fully half the medicines constantly bombarding the pubic on television will badly hurt or kill most of the people who convince unscrupulous medical and even fake medical workers online). The military is being used against the public itself on American soil to piss that public off and turn citizens against members of that military, and by having this done to them, have the military turn against them.
This chaos is partially the result of the billionaire class working insidiously to divide up and bring the citizenry literally to its knees. The secondary result comes from the nightmare of chaos running back and forth through what is left of Donald Trump’s damaged brain. Those people serving in the military have regular jobs when they are not called up to some not even imagined national emergency. They must be given back their employment when they go home, but the employer does not have to give them back the same job. While they are gone, the work still has to be done by employers, and you can guess what is happening as more and more of these men and women are enlisted to try to bring about the origins of a new civil war.
Crime has been screaming downward ever since Covid was at its worst, but the mass media picked up the new get tougher on crime garbage and has run with it. The New Times on Labor Day ran a front-page story about some clown running a faux made-up organization called the First Responders and how miserable it was to live in New York with friends and family constantly being shot and killed. Only the last sentence of the article, supporting how bad the supposed violence is, indicates the statistics over the last three years and how all violent crime has gone way down in every one of the three years.
What can be done? How does the nation endure without going into a war mode, which, the author of this article, having fought and been shot in one, does not want to have happen whatsoever? That judiciary mentioned earlier in this article must be supported fully as it’s hurt from being attacked so harshly. The nation must also prepare itself for no election next year as there is now no way, except by death itself, is this cratered, wobbling, and demented leader is going to surrender any power again. Time is on the country’s side. Mortality is on the country’s side. The judiciary is on the country’s side. We must all try to understand that the mass media is not on the country’s side and that one day it will be totally dismantled when it’s finally figured out by everyone that having the mass media owned by billionaires and giant companies that don’t pay taxes. The one thing we must not do or never do is allow ourselves to be dragged into a civil war.
The nation is under an enforced and growing umbrella of disinformation. Disinformation about our way of life. Greed is being touted as good. Compassion is synonymous with weakness. Alliances are to be taken advantage of. Helping others is foolish. Democrats who evidence the opposite of those ‘teachings’ are evil, stupid, and communists. We must all look deep inside ourselves and behind us to bring back those things that helped build this country.
