OUR PLACE

The Lake Geneva Post Office rocks again.
Under the leadership of Christopher, the relatively new postmaster, the place has reorganized and begun to express itself in ways that haven’t been seen in years.  Tiara is back (she was working in the back all along but never came to the counter so everyone who loved her thought she was gone…the staff of the GSR included), and she’s Christopher’s supervisor being what she’s always been, a superb employee and warm human being.  What a pleasure it is to walk into this small-town post office and be treated so well and also so efficiently.  Thank you, Christopher, and Tiara, and so many of the people working at that front desk as well as those like Tiara at the back who do such a great job in and around Lake Geneva.

Farmer’s Market season is almost here!
Lake Geneva Farmer’s Market starts this Thursday, May 2nd at 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and is open every Thursday through the end of October. The Lake Geneva Market is one of the best. The Horticultural Hall sets the scene with vendors lined up along Broad Street and turn at both Geneva Street and Wisconsin Street. The vendors come every year and the marketgoers look forward to the fresh wonderful products they provide. Lake Geneva is a favorite summer season destination, and the farmers market is one of the consistent events visitors look forward to too.

The Williams Bay Farmers Market is another great fresh outdoor market opening soon. Starting on Friday, May 24th at 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and every Friday through the end of summer you can enjoy this market located in the beautiful Edgewater Park in Williams Bay.

The Geneva Outdoor Market is another local farmer’s market. Located on County Trunk H on the grounds of Tommi’s Garden and Bloom opening soon. This outdoor market has not posted opening day but will be open on Saturday Mornings. Get ready for a bigger and better market to enjoy. With farmer markets getting ready to open, summer is definitely on its way.
