OUR PLACE

Su Wings is reopening soon.
The owners are currently waiting for the city council to make their final decision on Su Wing’s Beer and Wine License at the October 14th meeting. No matter the decision, they will open on October 21st. If the liquor license is approved, they will be open for dine-in and carry-out. If they are not approved, then it will be carry-out only.

There are two Chinese restaurants in town, Dragon City, located up by Piggly Wiggly just off the parking lot (recently purchased from the long-time family four months ago), and Su Wings, which closed recently after Sun Wing leased the place out to another Chinese family now running a restaurant in Como.  Su Wing will be returning, and as his location is so ideal with plenty of private parking near Kwik Trip, it should do just fine.

Bigfoot has been sighted.
Again. The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) has received and is currently investigating another multi-witness sighting that was reported from Wisconsin this past September. The BFRO has a large network of experienced volunteer investigators across the U.S. and Canada who use various methods to determine the credibility of reports. They spend a great deal of time and effort sorting through and investigating sighting reports to determine which are credible enough to display to the public.

One of the locations of these sightings is locally in the Kettle Moraine area. The Kettle Moraine formation is the hilly edges of an ancient glacial ice sheet. Both locations of the Bigfoot sightings are within 500 yards of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. This is very similar to the pattern seen in other parts of the country, with sightings within a few hundred yards of major scenic trails.
