Dragon Days Fall Fantasy Festival is back.
The Opening Ceremony will be on Friday, September 27th from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m., and the festival will be on Saturday and Sunday, September 28th and 29th. This year the festival will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons. Lake Geneva is the birthplace of fantasy machining the festival is a city-wide event. Lake Geneva is the home of Gary Gygax, the best-selling author and the creator of the first roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons. It is also the home of Gygax’s original game company TSR which produced D&D and other popular games.
Events will be held at several venues including Library Park, Geneva Lake Museum, Geneva Theater, American Legion Hall, Horticultural Hall, Lake Geneva Library, and the birthplace of D&D at 330 Center Street. The opening Ceremony and Library are free. Admission for all other venues is $30.00 for the weekend and $20.00 for one day, children 12 and under are free. Festival passes can be purchased ahead of time at dragondays.org or be picked up at the admission booth located at the northwest corner of the Lake Geneva Library. Rain or shine, this fun-filled Fantasy Festival will have something for everyone to enjoy.
