The Milwaukee Bucks have officially put the finishing touches on their 2023-24 roster.
The Bucks signed Jaylin Galloway to a two-way deal, filling its third and final two-way slot after it had been vacant for so long. He joins a room of two-way players that features former first-round pick TyTy Washington and Ryan Rollins. Outside of a very brief summer league stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves before the season, Galloway has spent his professional career overseas in Sydney. This season, the 21-year-old appeared in 23 games (14 starts) with the Kings and averaged 10.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 53.8% from the field. He was named one of three finalists for the NBL’s Most Improved Player Award this season after doubling his scoring average from the previous season.
Overall, Galloway played in 76 games with Sydney over the past four seasons and was a two-time NBL champion. Galloway isn’t expected to make a significant impact on the squad this season, but the Bucks adding youth talent to their roster is a step in the right direction. The move to bring in Galloway came while the Bucks were making a strong push in the second half of the season. The Bucks are on a five-game winning streak, as they have yet to lose since the All-Star break. They are currently third in the Eastern Conference with a 40-21 record. Welcome to the Bucks Jaylin Galloway. The new coach has improved his win-loss record since coming with the team from 2 wins and 7 losses to 8 wins and 2 losses. He’s coming right along as the players gather around to support his efforts.
