Follow instructions on this page: Emergency Notification Alerting System | Walworth County, WI
Receive alerts providing warnings of life-threatening events and emergencies, such as Crime/Imminent Danger, Evacuation Alert, Hazardous Materials, Local Area Emergency, and Missing Persons/Amber Alert. Tell them what geographical area you wish to be notified about by entering a zip code. To send you information, they need to know the general area you are located in via your zip code. Choose the alerts you wish to receive. Walworth County will automatically send you tornado watches and warnings for your chosen zip code(s). Please provide your address and preferred method(s) of contact. Adding your address will allow tailoring so you do not receive alerts that don’t pertain to your geographical area.
These alerts are provided free of charge; however, standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply. If you wish to subscribe to SMS text messages only, text your zip code to 38276. There is also a mobile app available. The notification system is provided by Alert Sense. You can stay informed by choosing which alerts you would like to receive by checking the boxes. They range from alerts of severe weather to local crime situations.
