SURPRISING STUFF
Will the new leadership of Lake Geneva mean that some of the nagging and irritating stuff the old crew would do nothing about change?
How about the re-setting of the traffic lights up and down Main Street so that nobody has to sit around and wait when there’s nobody else coming in the other direction? The current system will do that if properly set.
Will something be done to change the striping that was done to screw up the part of Highway 120 running north from Main at the Walgreens and make it safe, sane and allow vehicles to get along quicker?
Will the new administration go after the cell phone companies and make them turn their towers on or get out of town (or pay a huge tax if they leave them as dead as they are now)?
Will the leadership quietly look at buying enough sand to put back a real each running out a good sixty feet or more along Big Foot? That was the way it was back in the fifties and before.
None of these solutions to real vexing problems are expensive. They simply require paying close attention to and then acting.
Everyone deserves to have a cake on a birthday.
Birthday Blessing Boxes are coming to Walworth County with the help of the Little Free Pantry. They are looking for donations to make 100 birthday boxes to help locals throughout Walworth County. Each Kit will contain: 1 aluminum cake pan with a lid, 1 box cake mix, 1 can frosting, 1 can 7UP/Sprite/Lemon Lime Soda, balloons, and candles. You can bake a cake mix with just lemon-lime soda and no eggs or oil are needed. This is a great hack.
Donations can be dropped off anytime by April 22 at Station 20 Pub ‘N Grub or River Jack’s Bar & Grill. Boxes will then be distributed and available at local Little Free Pantries throughout the county.
