SURPRISING STUFF

The problems that there are no current solutions to.
Todd Krause is doing a more than creditable job. He’s ‘working the table’ like in Vegas, in order to deal the cards, so to speak, and then being able to know when to hit them or fold. The traffic signals have received no attention, other than a useless meeting before the utility commission wherein it was established that there’s a real problem. Tom Earle works to try to repair the streets, now filled with potholes up and down Main, with little funding or personnel to do the job. He’s trying his heart out and having gone down to his offices to ‘harass’ him about the critical issue, the GSR staff knows this for a fact.

The street that was rebuilt to become the thoroughfare between Main and Interchange North still is a nightmare, and the proper lines painted to ‘help’ things need to be painted over again because the ‘fix’ has been no fix at all.  Driving from Main, or Highway 50 as it’s called by Walgreens, is a dangerous nightmare of bad planning and execution. The beaches are closed because of supposed blue algae blooms, but no danger has been determined to be derived from their growth and proliferation. What gives there? The sheriff’s department and the DNR continue to try to ticket speeders along the Bigfoot Beach ‘paradise road’ stretch of water-view highway. Why? Because it’s a beautiful stretch to sit on and admire the hood ornament young ladies laid out along the sterns of those boats?   Bigfoot doesn’t have a speeding problem. It has a lack of proper clean sand and pedestrian protection systems. Good luck at getting either the sheriffs or the DNR to recognize or do anything about those.
