SURPRISING STUFF
Supposedly big snowstorm events are expected to strike the Lake Geneva area in late December, January, and February.
This comes right after the GSR predicted that where was not only no snow so far into the season but that there was none predicted for the future. Well, welcome back to the ‘real’ Wisconsin, where snow lurks nearby at all times, ready to avoid prediction and then plunk down like a pet dog or cat, right in the middle of any gathering or family meal.
Something as simple as driving around and enjoying all the Christmas lights can be a magical family bonding evening.
The lights at the Grand Geneva Resort are a tradition for many families. The resort has millions of Christmas lights, with numerous winter displays including the Twelve Days of Christmas. This year, make this drive and check out the decorated homes in the neighborhoods nearby or venture a little further away to other communities. This year, there seems to be an abundance of light displays, some very elaborate. Many homes are decorated for a reason and that’s to spread Christmas cheer.
Most homeowners are honored to have cars drive by slowly and enjoy such amazing and original presentations. Think of Clark in the movie called Christmas Vacation! Merry Christmas to all.

The Culver’s serial robber strikes again.
The same man has been robbing Culver’s restaurants throughout southern Wisconsin since October. He always goes through the drive-thru, passing employees notes demanding money. Like most businesses today, Culvers has security cameras, and the suspect can now be described as a heavyset man, dark hair and driving a red four door Jeep Wrangler. The same man is also wanted for an armed robbery at the Best Buy in Janesville Wisconsin. The suspect stole two MacBook Pros after displaying a black handgun to employees. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case.
