A Mukwonago family is still out regularly searching for their missing son, one year after he disappeared.
It’s been a year-long search for 17-year-old Isaiah Cramer, and his family still doesn’t know what happened to him. Vance, Isaiah’s dad, spends most of his time looking for Isaiah, along with the rest of the family. Isaiah, who was 16 years old at the time, abruptly left the Norris Center on Feb. 4, 2024, without his daily epilepsy medication. He was seen on a trail camera that night near Maple Avenue and Center Drive in the Village of Vernon.
The treatment facility Isaiah was staying at is surrounded by dense woods, fields, and swamps. Since his disappearance, posters have been put up, and there have been numerous searches, including K-9s, drones, and volunteers from all over the country, in the areas surrounding the Norris Center. Last August, investigators said they found Isaiah’s headphones but since then, there’s been few answers for his family. In a statement, the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department said it’s still receiving tips and expanded the search with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to share Isaiah’s information across the country.
Vance says he, his wife, and Isaiah’s two siblings are always out looking to bring him home. If you have any information about Isaiah or have seen him, call the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office at 262-446-5070.
Ron Geman and Joanie Yunker are still at it.
Ron has his quarterly magazine and Joni Yunker, the former defeated council member that she is, has her Diner restaurant over on Wells next to Culvers. Both continue to hate the GSR and, in particular, the publisher of this newspaper. That neither the publication nor the publisher hate them is quite possibly impossible to believe, but it’s true.
Both of these ‘detractors’ of the GSR serve the community well. Ron’s magazine is one of quality, cute in many respects, and it’s also nice to have lying around at a barber shop or waiting room to page through. Joni’s Diner serves good food at reasonable prices and has plenty of free parking only steps away. Joanie is almost always there and entertaining, to say the least, especially if she’s talking about the toxic publication known as the GSR.
Having such differential views constantly presented and with everyone free to do that is the hallmark of what the U.S. Constitution is all about. Freedom. Real freedom to have and share almost any opinion. Lake Geneva is blessed to have this kind of dialogue resting and not resting right at its very foundations all the time.
