The digital world has become a huge part of everyone’s life and with it comes so many conveniences, so many challenges, and so many concerns.
The Founder/President of Join the Movement to Stop Human Trafficking, and Dawn Health-Fiedler are offering a workshop that will educate all attendees on the dangers of the Internet and how to protect today’s youth in this digital world. Human trafficking is real, and education is the key.
The class will be offered on Tuesday, February 6th, from 6:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. at the Badger High School and costs $10 per class. As much as all parents want to keep their children safe, it is not realistic to be with them every moment, and the creation of the digital world has made that even harder. Another event brought to everyone by Bennet Merens from the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection will discuss safe practices regarding the Internet and children. That one-night presentation will take place on March 1, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m., at the Badger High School in room 813, and is free.
