Concerts in the Park start next week, and the lineup has something for everyone.
Get ready for this family favorite weekly event. Concerts in the Park have become a Thursday night summer tradition in Lake Geneva. Flat Iron Park is the perfect location with its picturesque view of the lake. The Brunk Pavilion makes a great stage for the crowds to enjoy the music. The park offers ample space to lay a blanket down or unfold a lawn chair to relax and listen or if you’re feeling the music there is plenty of room to dance the night away. The grounds of the park are always filled with locals and visitors kicking back in the park enjoying a perfect summer evening.

Visit Lake Geneva will be hosting the 2024 season of Concerts in the Park. Every Thursday from 6 p.m. through 8 p.m. for the next seven weeks, Flat Iron Park will be filled with the sounds of summer. The first concert of the season is June 27th.   Cheap Foreign Cars will hit the stage. Cheap Foreign Cars is a triple tribute band performing the best of Cheap Trick, Foreigner, The Cars, and more.

A large fire that damaged the Lazy Cloud Lodge on highway 50 was caused by candles on a patio.
The fire spread to multiple units with the Lake Geneva and the Town of Linn Fire Departments responding first. Engine 281 was the first to arrive, and because of the magnitude of the fire, they began aggressively trying to put it out. Eventually, they needed additional support and elevated the alarm to the second level. Walworth, Racine, Kenosha and McHenry County Fire Departments all responded, helped put out the flames and salvaged items from the units. Most of the damage was to the back of the building and in the attic, and no one was reported to be injured.
