Big business, and why political parties sometimes do not matter.
How about the fact that these ‘Advantage’ medical plans, the one’s the sales forces across the nation attempt to switch into by giving up their Medicare Part B benefits, received a total of 11.2 billion dollars in federal bonuses last year?
Say what? And oh, you may think these Advantage Plans that advertise additional coverages for vision, dental, and hearing should get bonuses for giving out more to the Medicare members who make the change? Well, no. Those plans actually all pay out less than the Part B participants get who remain in Medicare because they are not measured on that statistic. They are measured on how many people they can get to make the change and then a ‘risk analysis’ which is nothing more or less than a survey of participants. Who gets sent a survey form? Nobody knows.
Biden signed for more bonuses this year and Trump the year before. There are, apparently, three parties that control everything, at least in Social Security and Medicare situations, and those are Republican, Democratic and Big Business. Guess which party has the most power?
DO NOT SURRENDER YOUR MEDICARE PART B! Do the math or logic in your head. An outside private firm cannot give beneficiaries what Medicare Part B allows, plus vision, dental, and hearing, plus a bit of small change back every year. There’s no free lunch in the entire collection of entities that make up the American medical care complex. There’s no free anything. You paid for your Medicare benefits while you were working while younger. Do not let the thieves of this unprincipled mix of private insurance companies (with some politician’s help) steal what you spent so much money and time paying for.
