The Fourth of July.
It’s hard to believe that the 4th of July is only a week away. The Fourth of July always brings a lot of festivities, but this year it falls in the middle of the week so scheduling these events is a little trickier.
Residents of East Troy will kick off the holiday with their annual Independence Day Celebration starting this Thursday, June 28th through Sunday, July 1st, at the village amusement park. There will be carnival rides, a beer tent, live music, multiple food vendors, and of course fireworks!
Delavan citizens will start their Fourth of July celebration on Saturday, June 30th at the Community Park at 4 p.m., with food and beer tents. Live music will be performed between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m., with fireworks at around 9 p.m. If you want to watch the fireworks from the water you can reserve a spot on the Lake Lawn Resort firework boat cruise by calling (800) 338-5253.
On Wednesday, July 4th, Delavan Veterans Park will have activities for the whole family from morning to night, beginning with a pancake breakfast, followed by a parade, live music, and more fireworks.
If you’re looking for Independence Day fun in the Lake Geneva area a few of the resorts will also be hosting some great family fun:
