Art in the Park.
The Geneva Lake Art Foundation presents the 46th Art in the Park. Saturday and Sunday, August 8th & 9th, Flat Iron Park will be filled with more than 80 talented artists. The art exhibits will include jewelry, wood, watercolor, photography, metal, pottery, oils, and so much more. This is a great opportunity to stroll the lakefront and check out and purchase some unique art.
The dates are set, so mark your calendars and make those plans. The 64th Annual Venetian Festival, hosted by the Lake Geneva Jaycees, opens Wednesday, August 19th and runs through August 23rd. The festival will highlight America’s 250th and bring all the fun and energy its patrons have come to expect. The festival includes live music, carnival rides and games, fair food, a beer tent, and much more. There is a great lineup of live music at the beer tent and stage, as always. The weekend will include the fabulous art and craft fair in Library Park with approximately 75 exhibitors.
Sunday has a lot of great fun in store, along with the fun at the festival, including the grand finale fireworks show. The Venetian Fest and Carnival is fun for the whole family. There is something for everyone during this five-day event, including great rides, fun games, delicious food, and live entertainment. Don’t miss out on Lake Geneva’s biggest celebration of the summer.
Place of the Week
The new mats on the Riviera Beach are a big improvement. The beach is now accessible to families with strollers, those with disabilities, and those in wheelchairs.
